Caller Name Speaker- Speak SMS is a free Android application developed by unidroid under the category of Utilities & Tools. The application is designed to help users identify who is calling or messaging them without having to look at their phone. This feature was not available for Android users before this application. The caller name speaker will speak the name of the caller or SMS sender each time the user gets a call or message. The application uses the built-in Android text-to-speech engine or Google Text-to-speech engine to announce the caller or SMS Sender ID with phone speakers.

The application is highly customizable, allowing users to enable or disable announcing the caller name, incoming SMS sender name, or SMS contents. It also allows users to turn on or off the feature over the device's status. Users can get notifications in the top notification bar while reading SMS and tap on the notification to stop reading SMS contents. Furthermore, users can press volume up or volume down to stop the announcement, configure time interval to repeat playing caller name, lower the ringtone volume on incoming calls, and select different languages for text-to-speech (40+ languages supported).
